This is a web interface used to insert and update content into a relational database (standard: SQL server). Using a web interface provides the possibility to use the tool from any location. All that is needed is Internet (or Intranet) access.

All content that is published on the web site originates from this database. The content is inserted into the database via web forms. A "flow" can be added to this process before the content is actually published on the web site. This way many different persons can provide content for the web site, while a certain level of supervision is applied.

The "Content management system" has a hierarchic structure. Using different "user levels", users can be selectively allowed or denied access to certain parts and functions of the tool.

Using the "publish tool", the same content can be published on the website in several different sections, while only having been inserted into the database once.

The front-end is dynamically built. A "layout template" is developed, which is filled with content from the database, based on the visitors' selections. In other words, this template generates the actual web site, using content from the database.

The tool has a modular set-up. This provides almost unlimited possibilities towards customization of the system, both during the implementation of a project and after.
